Marie Serneholt, 40, was one of the hottest pop stars of the 90s when she broke through with the group A-Teens in the late nineties. The group’s members consist of Marie Serneholt, Amit Paul, Dhani Lennevaldand Sarah Lumholdt and the group delivered hits such as “Mamma Mia” and “Upside down”

Another super hit that the group was responsible for was “Floorfiller”, which was also a big hit internationally.
In 2004, the group split up and the gang chose to take different paths in life.
Marie Serneholt continued with music as a solo artist, and later moved on to host. It did too Dhani Lennevald, but as a prodcucent. Sara Lumholdt and Amit Paul put the music on the shelf instead.

Over the years, Marie has managed to do some things that she can put on her CV.
In autumn 2008, Marie Serneholt appeared in TV4’s Stjärnor på is. In 2009, she debuted in Melodifestivalen with the song “Disconnect Me” and she also participated in the panel in SVT’s Inför Eurovision Song Contest.
She also dated here Måns Zelmerlöw but the couple split in 2011.
In 2011, she hosted Melodifestivaken together with Richard Olsson. But the biggest feather in her hat is probably that she was a presenter in Bingolotto for a period.

Entrepreneurship also pairs Marie with motherhood.
In the fall of 2017, she met her boyfriend Fredric Palmqvist. Today they have two children together, the six-year-old twins Philip and Nicholas who was born in 2018.
And the twins – they came as quite a shock, to say the least.

– It is the biggest shock of my life. It wasn’t that I had a huge belly to begin with, but Fredric had realized that he thought there were two in there. I just felt “but God stop, don’t even say that”, I almost got annoyed because it is not on the map that I will have twins, Marie told Bathina’s separate meetings.
During Melodifestivalen 2024, she now appears with her old band A-Teens and the viewers are excited to say the least.
