Last spring, it was discovered that someone had dumped about 100 red-listed sharks and rays in Lysekil’s harbour. Now a person has been served with suspicion of a violation of the Fisheries Act, reports P4 West.

Prosecutor James von Reis tells P4 that the person was interrogated several times, but denies any crime.

The prosecution may be brought within a few weeks.

It was a group of marine biology students who discovered the dead and dying fish in April. It turned out to be about 100 fish of the protected species of porbeagle, white flounder and flounder.
