In a new MMO, which is released on Steam, among others, you face the task of securing the only safe place for surviving humanity. With charming graphics, hack-and-slash combat and good animations, the game is reminiscent of a good old side-scrolling RPG, with lots of action.

What kind of game is this? Towerborne is a new MMO that will be available for PC via Steam and Gamepass as well as for Xbox. However, an exact release date is not yet known at this point. But according to the trailer, it should come in 2024.

The gameplay, with its 2.5D graphics, is reminiscent of modern beat’em ups and old side-scrolling RPGs:

What awaits you? In the action-adventure, the Belfry, a large tower, offers people security, but is threatened outside by dangerous monsters and enemies. As a hero who has been reincarnated in the spirit realm, you set out to defeat them and protect your home.

You design your character with individual appearance, equipment, weapons and skills in order to perfectly adapt it to your playing style.

Many features are intended to make Towerborne the new MMO hit

  • You face the fight with various companions from the spirit realm, all of whom have different abilities.
  • You can fight against various opponents with up to three other players.
  • You choose between four different weapon classes: large war clubs, sword and shield, gauntlets and double daggers
  • Enemies attack you in hordes, offering classic hack-and-slash combat.
  • After your fights, you submit your completed orders to the tower, prepare for the next fight and or strengthen your equipment.

    • The developers promise you an ever-growing world, which will continue to be expanded with seasonal content and thus provide long-term motivation for players.

    The aim is not only to bring new items and enemies into the game, but also to expand the world of Towerborne with new areas that you can discover.
