Downton Abbey 2 will be released on April 27, 2022 in French cinemas, a slight delay compared to the initial date. The wealthy British family and their servants are going to France, to a villa inherited by Lady Violet, while a film is being shot at Downton. New secrets will, once again, shake up the Crawleys’ daily life in this new film.
In the casting, we must find in the distribution the main actors of the series, like Maggie SmithMichelle Dockery or Hugh Bonneville, but also new faces: Hugh Dancy, Dominic West, Laura Haddock and the French Nathalie Baye were announced by Universal Pictures.
