A chocolate lover’s dream: chocolate chip cookies

Did you know that there are few things that can compare to the smell of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies? It’s hard not to fall for these soft, delicious treats with their chocolate chunks that just melt in your mouth. This classic pastry is a favorite among adults and children alike, and goes perfectly with a cup of coffee or a glass of milk.

Ingredients:

  • 200 g chocolate buttons or chopped chocolate
  • Instructions:

  • Set the oven to 175°C.
  • Mix butter, caster sugar and brown sugar in a large bowl until fluffy.
  • Add the egg and mix well.
  • Sift the wheat flour, bicarbonate and salt into the batter and stir until everything is well mixed.
  • Stir in the chocolate buttons or chopped chocolate.
  • Form small balls of the dough and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake in the middle of the oven for about 10-12 minutes until the cookies have a nice color.
  • Let the cookies cool slightly on the baking sheet before moving them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Tip: For extra soft and delicious cookies, let the dough rest in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before forming the balls and baking them.
