Charlotte Kalla is one of our biggest skiing heroes.
But now she raises her voice and reveals her unexpected anger.
– So, idiots. What do you expect?, she says in the “Winter pass” podcast.
She is one of our very best cross-country skiers of all time. Charlotte Kalla has won both Olympic gold and WC gold as well as the Tour de Ski during the successful career.
Called sudden anger
She is very well known for her lovely personality and has charmed all Swedes with her big winning skull. But now Kalla comes up with an unexpected outburst where she vents the anger inside.

Even though she ended her skiing career for good, there is one competition that she will never forget. In 2008, Charlotte Kalla had recently won the Tour de Ski as the first Swede ever and then she would make a comeback to the World Cup again in Estonian Otepää.
Charlotte: “Idiots”
She then finished 16th in the 10km race, having recently returned from illness. And she never forgets the rage that grew within her.
– I thought the result wasn’t my best, but still quite okay, says Kalla about the race today in the “Vinterpasset” podcast.

But despite that, she was only asked if she was disappointed as expectations for her had been raised after the overall Tour de Ski victory.
– Then I really could only laugh. So, idiots. I come from illness, it’s classic style… what do you expect?, says Kalla in the podcast.
– It is not easy when you are filled with adrenaline and others make claims.
Kalla then gets the nod from Jonna Sundlingwhich is also featured in the podcast.
– I hate when that happens, says the Swedish skiing star.
