ENAV Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party visits the control

(Finance) – ENAV opened the doors of control tower of Fiumicino airport to the parliamentary group of Democratic Party. The delegation, welcomed by the top management of the Company, the President Alessandra Bruni and the CEO Pasqualino Monti, was composed of the Honorable Paola De Micheli, Valentina Ghio, Patrizia Prestipino, Andrea Casu, Piero De Luca, Matteo Mauri, Nico Stumpo and the Senators Alfredo Bazoli, Filippo Sensi.

The CEO Pasqualino Mountains illustrated to the guests the areas in which the ENAV Group is involved: from airspace management, to projects to develop the drone sector, up to activities on international markets. The parliamentarians were then able to visit the operations room of the Fiumicino control tower.

ENAV employs over 140 technical and operational people at the Rome airport and manages, at peak times, over 1000 flights a day with peaks of 90 per hour. The control tower is responsible for the traffic airplane both in ground handling and in the take-off and landing phases.
