A fire has broken out in an apartment building in the district of Ronna in Södertälje, the police write on their website.
The stairwell is full of smoke, and residents have been evacuated from balconies using ladder trucks.
– There is smoke coming from two stairwells, says Sören Gustavsson at SOS Alarm to Expressen.
The entire house with three gates and four floors is being evacuated, the police say. The police are on site and are assisting the emergency services with, among other things, roadblocks.
The alarm came at 11.22. There is currently no information on injuries.
