Castle director of the adjacent Slot Zuylen, Willem Te Slaa, was approached early on by the municipality about the plans. “I think it’s good that they don’t lose sight of the historical connection,” he says. “This area has always been very important for the Castle.” On the other hand, Te Slaa also has his doubts about various facets of the plan. “You don’t want animals to be chased away or that it runs out of visitors in terms of visitors.”
