Community is happy with the new patch

What aspects does the community like about the patch? In a thread on Reddit, players are discussing the changes and in general the community seems to be very happy with this patch, as shown by the increased number of players.

In a comment on Reddit, SirRosstopher particularly highlights how cool he thinks it is that desert planets are now only affected by intense heat during the day. At night, there is no longer a modifier or instead extreme cold. With over 2,000 upvotes, the community is also showing enthusiasm for this change.

User Snoo_63003 is also enthusiastic about the patch in a comment on Reddit. He particularly likes the buffs mentioned above, especially the buff for the railgun, crossbow and thermite in terms of damage. For example, the damage of the crossbow has been increased from 150 to 350.

Are there any points that the community rates negatively? So far, there has been little criticism of the latest patch for Helldivers 2. However, despite the many words of praise from the community, there is also some negative feedback. User ButchyBanana says on Reddit that he is particularly disappointed that the Purifier has not received a buff and that, in his opinion, it could be the weakest weapon in the game.

However, other users are trying to keep the player positive and mention that another balance patch is due to be released soon as part of the developers’ 60-day plan.

As part of their 60-day plan, the developers of Helldivers 2 have already buffed another weapon before the big patch, so that it is now as strong as it was when the game was released.
