The 65-year-old man, whose name has not been disclosed, was taken to the hospital for “excessive alcohol consumption.” He had uncontrolled type 2 diabetes and an enlarged prostate. Doctors gave the man antibiotics and sent him home after he went to the emergency room. However, the 65-year-old man, who could not stand the nausea and bad smell, went to the emergency room seven days later with a fever of 39 degrees and crackling in his pubic bone.
Tests revealed that his vital signs were stable, but his prostate was enlarged and he had “multiple abscesses.” He was given a blood transfusion, more antibiotics and insulin.
HIS PENIS HAD TURNED COMPLETELY BLACK
According to The Sun Newspaper, a man who went to hospital due to excessive alcohol consumption was found to have multiple gas-containing abscesses in his enlarged prostate on a CT scan. He also had “a copious amount of purulent, greenish and foul-smelling discharge from the urethra and foreskin, scrotum and rectal fingers”. Doctors were forced to perform a “total penile necrosis” on the patient after seeing that his penis was completely black and rotten. No tissue was found after the patient’s penis was cut off after he consented to surgery.
He was discharged one week later on outpatient treatment.
