The Family Allowance Fund, better known by the acronym CAF, has just announced the next payment dates for its social assistance. Most of them have been revalued, with an increase of 4.6% since April 1.
With the inflation that France has been experiencing for several months, the payment of family allowances (and other social benefits) is a valuable boost for certain families. Moreover, with this in mind, most of them have been revised upwards, with a +4.6% increase.
The payment schedule has been revealed
The allowances paid by the Family Allowance Fund are of different types and can be combined, depending on the profile of the applicants. However, they are always paid at the beginning of the following month, generally the 5th or 6th. If these days are weekends or a public holiday, the transfer will be made on the nearest working day. Be careful, however, as delays may occur, depending on the processing carried out by the banking establishments.
Thus, the allocation for the month of May will arrive in a few days, on Wednesday June 5, 2024. For the rest, the official calendar is established as follows:
- The June allowance will be paid on Friday July 5, 2024;
- The July allowance will be paid on Monday August 5, 2024;
- The August allowance will be paid on Thursday September 5, 2024;
- The September allowance will be paid on Friday October 4, 2024;
- The October allowance will be paid on Tuesday November 5, 2024;
- The November allowance will be paid on Thursday December 5, 2024;
- The December allowance will be paid on Monday January 6, 2025.
