In reaction to the interview with the Israeli Prime Minister on LCI, Benjamin Netanyahu, a major demonstration took place in front of the premises of the TF1 group. Messages of support for Palestine and against the Israeli regime were chanted.
Up to 2,500 people gathered to demonstrate at the foot of the TF1 tower, in Boulogne-Billancourt, Thursday May 30. In question, the decision of the television group to interview the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu. The demonstration was made up of three processions which advanced towards the premises of the group which includes LCI, a continuous news channel which broadcast the interview.
At the entrance to the offices, a large security device had been deployed, preventing activists from approaching the area. Despite torrential rain, the demonstrators came in large numbers. Some wore keffiyehs and Palestinian flags. Slogans such as “Israel is a murderer” or “Gaza, Gaza, Paris is with you” were shouted during the demonstration. The images were widely distributed on social networks.
Calls from pro-Palestinian organizations
The call to rally was made by several members of France Insoumise and associations, such as the France Palestine Solidarity Association. “The place of the person whom the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court considers to be a war criminal and a criminal against humanity is before the courts and not on TV sets in France!” tweeted the organization. Like her, Urgence Palestine was also outraged on social networks, calling to “demand the cancellation of the broadcast”, “call out (the channels) on social networks” and to gather “at 7:00 p.m. in front of TF1 and LCI”.

As for political figures, MP Louis Boyard also called for a rally, as did Rima Hassan, on the France Insoumise list for the European elections: “Employees and interns of the TF1 group take your responsibilities! Sabotage this program, it “There is no question that the words of a war criminal will be broadcast this evening,” she denounced on X.

That same day, another rally took place to protest the presence of Israeli companies at the Eurosatory arms fair in Paris.
