Local resident Efé also sometimes finds the intersections confusing. “Especially in the beginning when I first lived here, I really didn’t understand it. I was also confused because the buses and cars are not coordinated. Then you don’t see a car and then a bus arrives anyway,” says she. Francis has lived on the Vleutenseweg for four years and also finds the road unsafe. “When we are unloading groceries from the car, cars sometimes drive by at 80 kilometers per hour,” he says. “It’s just very dangerous.” Local resident Bram has a different opinion. “It’s busy here, but that’s why you live in the city. I never really noticed it before the accident,” he says. “You also have to be careful yourself.”
