According to a specialist leaker and several leaked documents, Apple is planning an imminent release for new Airpods headphones.
This is the little bomb of the beginning of the week. New Airpods would not only be in preparation at Apple, but their release date would also be close!
Information doesn’t come out of nowhere. According to Mark Gurman, journalist specializing in Apple for the Bloomberg site, the Apple firm has launched massive production of several new models of wireless headphones. These are therefore not one but two new generations of Airpods which are being manufactured at the time of writing these lines.
Respectively called B768E and B768M, these two new wireless headphones from Apple do not yet have an official name. Mark Gurman indicates, however, that these are not new Airpods Pro. We can therefore assume that Apple is planning a potential launch of Airpods 4 as well as a new model.
These two new Airpods would benefit from a revised design, a USB-C charging port and better everyday wearing comfort. One of the two new Airpods in preparation would notably include active noise reduction as is the case on the Pro models. These two models would ultimately aim to replace the old Airpods 2 and Airpods 3 which are still distributed by Apple and partner sellers at present.
The two new Airpods headphones would represent the biggest launch of wireless headphones for the firm. These could well be presented alongside the new iPhone 16 which will be unveiled in September.
