Outside the Russian embassy in Stockholm, a long queue of people has gathered before the stroke of twelve on Sunday.
In the past, Vladimir Putin’s critics, including Yulia Navalnaya, have urged people to protest the president and the rigged election by voting at the same time: 12 noon on Sunday – all to create as much strain on the electoral process as possible.
According to the latest figures (SCB 2022), there are almost 25,000 people in Sweden who were born in Russia. It is unclear how many of them have the right to vote in the election.
