Prison officials said Navalny died in prison. The authorities of the penal institution of the Yamalo-Nenetsia district of Russia informed about the death yesterday, Friday, to the Russian news agency Interfax. Navalny was 47 years old when he died.
Navalny’s representative Kira JarmyÅ¡ demands that Navalny’s body be handed over to the family. Navalny’s body has been transported to Salekhart, the capital of the Yamalo-Nenets region.
