Mariupol residents sent to Russia read here three key

Numerous free strikes took place in the city of Mykolaiv on Saturday, authorities say. The fighting in Mariupol has made it more difficult to rescue people in the ruins of a theater destroyed earlier this week by bombing.

We compiled for this story the three most important events of the previous evening and last night in connection with the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Numerous free strikes were made on Mykolaiviv on Saturday

Russian troops carried out numerous free strikes on the city of Mykolaiv in Ukraine on Saturday, local authorities said.

Authorities said the city did not even have time to issue alarms once the airstrikes had already begun.

Authorities have not been able to report the extent of the damage caused by the air strikes or the number of possible deaths.

In Mariupol, Russian troops marching into the city center on Friday have continued fighting against the Ukrainians, the city mayor said on Saturday.

The fighting has made it more difficult to rescue people trapped in the ruins of a theater that was destroyed earlier this week.

Mayor of Mariupol: Residents of the city have been sent to Russia

According to the news agency AP, the city council of Mariupol said on Saturday that several thousand residents of the besieged city had been forcibly sent to Russia.

According to the BBC, the mayor of Mariupol has also spoken about the matter Vadym Boitshenko.

In a telegram service, Boitshenko said some had been sent on to remote Russian cities. The fate of others, he said, is unknown.

Both the AP and the BBC report that the allegation of relocation has not yet been confirmed.

About 300,000 people are trapped in Mariupol, where food and medicine stocks are dwindling.

6,623 people were evacuated from Ukrainian cities along humanitarian corridors on Saturday, Deputy Head of the President’s Office Kyrylo Tymoshenko says.

According to Tymoshenko, 4,128 people were evacuated from the siege of Mariupol.

“Russia fails to control Ukrainian airspace”

Russia has failed to take control of Ukraine’s airspace, says the British Ministry of Defense in its latest intelligence update.

According to the ministry, getting Ukraine’s airspace under control has been one of Russia’s main goals since the beginning of the attack.

– Their (Russia’s) continued failure in their attempts has significantly slowed down the progress of the operation, the ministry update says.

The ministry’s statement also states that Russia is currently having to rely heavily on long-range weapons.
