At the kitchen table, the sound of passing traffic is barely audible. “The normal noise remains outside,” says Hans. This doesn’t bother them, even when they sit outside on the balcony. The couple describes it as a constant kind of murmur. “It’s environmental noise. That’s part of living on the Ringweg.”
