Utrecht – Housing corporation SSH is shocked by the fire hazard that has been identified at the student complex on Cambridgelaan. It is a complex with more than five hundred homes. The facade panels do not meet the requirements and must be impregnated or replaced as soon as possible. In the meantime, the corporation is taking measures to prevent fire. There is no reason to panic, emphasizes SSH. “If we weren’t convinced that tenants would be safe here, we wouldn’t let them live here,” says housing manager Roeland Kreeft.
