Things went wrong on the Biltse Rading last Friday when the woman crossed the road with two children at a crossing point between the Voorveldse Polder and the Veemarkt. There the woman and the boy were hit by a car. The woman died on the spot, the boy succumbed to his injuries a day later. The other child was unharmed. It is still unclear how the accident happened.
