Blizzard is giving away one of the rarest mounts from World of Warcraft on Twitch today: the Fel Dragon. All you have to do is watch WoW for 4 hours for the release of the new Dragonflight expansion. MeinMMO explains the details to you.

What mount is this? The Fel Dragon is actually a mount that you got from a card from the WoW Trading Card Game. He uses the regular dragon model for mounts, has black scales and the classic neon green Fel glow, and the Legions rune above his head.

Since the trading card game is no longer in production, the devil dragon is accordingly sought after among collectors and for its appearance. Some pay up to $3,000 for it, which also makes the Fel Dragon one of the more expensive items in WoW.

How do I get the dragon? Starting today, Monday, November 28 at 7:00 p.m. PDT, the Fel Dragon will be available as a Twitch Drop. That means you can easily get the dragon for free by watching on Twitch:

  • You have to watch relevant channels on Twitch for 4 hours
  • It doesn’t have to be the same channel for 4 hours
  • Here you can find all channels for World of Warcraft on Twitch
  • You can recognize participating channels by the note: “Drops activated”
  • You do NOT have to subscribe to the streamer and do NOT need Twitch Prime
  • However, your Twitch account must be connected to your Blizzard account – This can be done on Battle.net
  • You can see the progress and the link in your drop inventory on Twitch

    • You have to hurry though, because you can only get the dragon until December 1st at 08:59. We don’t know if he’ll come back after that. The boss has already stated that certain mounts and content will never be made available again.

    Dragonflight Release Twitch Drops

    What other drops are there? Blizzard has a number of offers for Dragonflight on Twitch. After the Fel Dragon, there will be purple fireworks as a permanent toy for your collection from December 13th to December 29th.

    You’ll also receive a pet, Ichabod, a small harvesting golem when you gift two subscriptions to participating creators on Twitch between now and December 13th. Ichabod is not free like the other content.

    When does Dragon Flight start? You can play the new expansion from 00:00 on the night of Monday 28th to Tuesday 29th November. From there the way to the Dragon Islands opens and you can see the new areas, dungeons and the new story.
