Swedish Foreign Minister Tobias Billström said that Turkey is a country governed by democracy and they do not have an agenda to contact the terrorist organization PKK/YPG.
Making statements to Aftonbladet newspaper, Billström noted that the talks between Turkey and NATO were going better than the previous Social Democrat government and the process was proceeding more smoothly.
“IT IS NOTED BY THE TURKISH GOVERNMENT”
Billström said, “We do not have an agenda in the form of contact with the PKK and YPG. This situation is also noted by the Turkish government. Neither the government that currently governs Sweden, nor any agreement with those sympathetic to the PKK/YPG is out of question.” used the phrases.
Upon a question, Billström said, “Turkey is a state that makes free elections. Thus, the criteria for democracy are fulfilled. For example, when there is a human rights problem, we tell the Turkish government without hesitation.” said. (AA)
