In any case, it is a special experience for student Matteo to be able to help others. He himself came here from Syria in 2016. “Luckily I had enough money when I first arrived in the Netherlands to build something, but many people don’t, I think it’s great to be able to give help back now.” He is now in his last week of the project and learned a lot. “The fact that you can still help people so much with little experience, that has made a lot of impact on me.”
