AC Milan won the first derby of the year against Inter.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic sat in the stands, but was not calm about it.
Now pictures of the Swede’s actions on the side of the field are being spread – and the fans just love it.
The matches between Milan and Inter are perhaps the most interesting of the season in the Italian league. The two local rivals are great antagonists, and there are always hot feelings and a lot at stake when the teams meet.
Important win
It is easy to guess that it is the matches that Zlatan Ibrahimovic is most passionate about as well, and a few years ago the Swede was involved in a serious fight with Inter’s Romelu Lukaku during one of the matches. Now Ibrahimovic is injured, so he had to follow the match against Inter from the stands. And as he did it.
Milan won the match 3-1, and in the stands Zlatan Ibrahimovic had a total show. Several videos of the Swede have gone viral, and it’s easy to understand why he’s so popular in Milan, as much as he gets into the games. The clips of Ibrahimovic are loved by the supporters, and really show what a leader he is for this young Milan team.
The clip the fans love
In one clip, Ibrahimovic’s actions in the stands have been cut together, and it is truly wonderful viewing. During the match, Ibrahimovic has time to take selfies with ball callers and various young supporters, but he also gets involved in a rare way. He stands up and gives angry instructions to teammates – but he also celebrates wildly every chance he gets.
Ibrahimovic is hoping to be back after knee surgery in January, and is said to have already set his sights on which game he wants to make his big return. On January 18, Milan and Inter meet again, then in the Supercoppa Italiana, and then everyone hopes that Ibrahimovic is on the field as an extra spice.
