– The residents had discovered a fire in the basement floor and got out and raised the alarm themselves, says Stefan Fröbom, who is the emergency manager at the rescue service. Several rescue units and an ambulance were on the scene and according to SOS alarm, the rescue service reported heavy smoke at the scene.
When the emergency services arrived, the fire had spread from the basement to the ground floor. The rescue service now announces that the fire is out and that the rescue service is ventilating the building.
