There is a lot of work going on at Amersfoort Central these days. At the station at track 4, the sleepers, the track gravel and the overpass will be renewed. At track 2, the platform will be lowered so that passengers can board new trains more easily. Six points at the Smallepad will also be renewed, the level crossing will be overhauled and the track of the PON line and the level crossing on the Leusderweg will be refurbished.
