Police hunt for 35-year-old man

The police’s investigation has been going on intensively for two and a half weeks, and today the suspicions became so strong that a 35-year-old man was arrested in his absence.

– He is suspected on probable grounds, the higher level of suspicion, for two cases of murder and a serious arson on February 29, says Chamber prosecutor Emma Harrius.

The 35-year-old, who was previously convicted of assault and molestation of a person, is now wanted and being chased by the police. The prosecutor does not want to comment on whether it is suspected that the man fled abroad.

Calling for tips from the crime scene

Emma Harrius is otherwise tight-lipped about the evidence and the investigation.

– There are various investigative measures that have made him a suspect on probable grounds, I can’t say more.

The prosecutor calls on the public who have seen, heard or know something about the double murder and the fire to leave tips to the police.
