Their relatives denounced the obstacles to the investigation in Lebanon, but also the absence of international efforts for an international investigation.

This is the dearest wish of Rima Zahed, who lost her brother Amine, an employee at the port.

We have been waiting for truth and justice for three years. The people at the head of this state are playing for time, so that the Lebanese forget what happened on August 4, 2020. The day they forget, our file will be buried. It’s unfortunate that there are so few Lebanese to demonstrate with us today.

A lack of mobilization that worries other families of victims. But the crowd present is united.
