The Catch Art event is about to begin in Pokémon GO. You can find out when it is and what to expect here.
When does the event take place? The catching art event will take place on Saturday, December 9th, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The focus of the event will be Ice Pokémon and your accuracy when handling Poké Balls. This could be a good addition if you’re out exchanging gifts with Mateo anyway.
What will be in the event? In addition to free and paid temporary research, there will also be corresponding field research tasks, event bonuses and additional wild Pokémon.
Which Pokémon can be caught during the event? In the wild you can increasingly encounter Schneppke and Arktip. If you complete all 10 research series of temporary research, you can enjoy 40 Frigometry. This also applies to paid, temporary research. Here too there is a total of 40 Frigometri as a reward.
You can also encounter Frigometri for completing field research. This research will primarily revolve around your accuracy when handling Poké Balls.

Good bonuses for leveling and for shiny collectors
What bonuses are available during the event? The first bonus of the event relates to catching Pokémon. This will give you double experience points for good, great, and fabulous rolls.
The second bonus refers to the 3 Pokémon that are featured in the event. All 3 of them get an increased chance of appearing as Shiny.
