Instead of the three-radiator layout of previous cars, the new GT3 RS features a large angled central radiator at the front. In this way, the areas opened on the sides also allow the addition of active aerodynamic elements. With the combination of this new system at the front, the continuously adjustable wing elements in the two-piece rear section, and all other parts, the car has achieved a downforce of 409 kilograms at 200 km/h. At 285 km/h, this value reaches up to 860 kilograms.

On the aerodynamic side, the dimension that makes the story history is DRS. With this model, we see DRS included in a production Porsche model for the first time. DRS allows the wings to be straightened at the push of a button within a certain operating range to achieve lower drag and higher speed on flat sections of the track. The air brake system is activated during emergency braking at high speeds. The wing elements at the front and rear are set to the maximum, creating an aerodynamic deceleration effect that significantly supports the wheel brakes.

In the model, where improvements have also been made in the 4-liter atmospheric engine, increasing the power to 525 PS comes to the fore. In this development, we see the use of new camshafts with modified cam profiles in the model coming from the tracks. Porsche underlines that parts such as the gas intake system and rigid valve drive were also developed with inspiration from motor sports. We see that the new 911 GT3 RS, where we put all the parts together, can accelerate from zero to 100 km / h in 3.2 seconds and reach a maximum speed of 296 km / h.

Along with the increased limits, the brakes have also been improved, while the piston diameters have been increased from 30 mm to 32 mm compared to the 911 GT3, while the thickness of the discs has been increased from 34 mm to 36 mm. The increased dynamics compared to its predecessor have also increased the weight value of the GT3 RS. When we look at this part of the technical table, we see a total weight of 1,450 kilograms with a difference of 20 units.
