2022 Olympic Games medal table: the final ranking of France is becoming clearer

2022 Olympic Games medal table the final ranking of France

MEDAL JO. As we approach the end of these 2022 Winter Olympics, France is currently 10th with 14 medals obtained, including 5 gold.

[Mis à jour le 19 février à 13h05] No new medals for France. Last night, the tricolors could not change their ranking in the medal table. France remains 10th with 5 gold medals, 7 silver and 2 bronze. Norway is still at the top of the table with 15 gold medals won, far ahead of Germany (8 gold medals) and the United States (8 gold medals).

The 14th and last medal won by France is therefore that obtained by Justine Braisaz-Bouchet, crowned on the women’s mass start in these 2022 Olympics. It is also the 7th medal for French biathlon, the 3rd in gold. In the medal table, despite this new title, the French team remains in 10th place, just behind the Russian Olympic Committee which has more silver medals than our Tricolores. There are still a few chances of medals to break the record and move up the hierarchy.

The 2022 Olympics medal table

Norway, favorite to finish in first place in the ranking of nations in these Winter Olympics, did not miss the meeting and is well ahead of Germany while France is in the top 10.

The Blues hope to obtain more than 15 medals in these Winter Olympics in Beijing and beat the record of Sochi and Pyeongchang. With 14 medals on the clock including 5 gold medals, the Blues are on a good pace and can beat the record of the last two Olympics.
