When an NFT designer who “specialized” in drawing “stone images” named Dino Dealer registered his $1 million NFT with the wrong values, his masterpiece was instantly bought by a bot for nothing. In this era where NFTs are on the radar of gaming companies, enter the correct values while you spend hours saving your artwork on a blockchain or your effort will be wasted.
His $1M NFT went to 1 cent
Dino Dealer uploaded to the system EtherRock He uploaded the jpeg stone image named (also available in different colors) for 444 wei instead of 444 eth. It’s like the difference between about $1 million and selling it for free. He tried to reach the owner of the bot that bought the Dino Dealer NFT, but of course got no response.
Dino Dealer complained about the issue on Twitter:
” How’s your week going? Mine? I just accidentally uploaded my etherrock #44 to the system for 444 wei instead of 444 eth. A bot instantly bought it and put it up for sale on the same blockchain for 234 eth. I made $1 million in revenue with one click . Have I no hope? Can the owner of the boat show mercy?”
Of course, there are those who think that this immoral bot actually bought the aforementioned work of art for the value it deserves.
