On the occasion of the upcoming release of its paper magazine, Futura is surrounding itself with the best contributors. Among them, the videographer Yann Besnard, director and creator of the channel Youtube “12 Parsecs “. The latter published November 19 a video explaining his involvement in the magazine project, a first for the content creator. While the journal will deal with various scientific themes and news throughout its 200 pages, Yann Besnard will tackle a subject of astronomy. This is indeed the main angle of the young man, who tackles with his 175,000 subscribers various subjects revolving around space and pop culture.

With a little less than 80 videos and over 15 million views to his credit, 12 Parsecs thus speaks of black holes, from Perseids, of the functioning of the stars or of science in Dragonball Where War of the Worlds. With a playful and light tone, humor is often mixed with the most complex themes. In addition to his collaboration with Futura, two additional videos will be released on the channel on November 24 and 28. The first will analyze the first part of the saga Star Trek initiated by JJ Abrams. The second will focus on the constellation Ursa Major, its history and the notable celestial objects observable there.
