(Finance) – Today the Board of Directors of Zurich Investments Life SpA – the Zurich Group company dedicated to the offer and distribution of life (protection, investment, savings) and pension products – has appointed Renato Antonini as CEO effective from 1 January 2024. The Zurich Group announced this in a note.
Graduated in Actuarial Statistical Sciences at La Sapienza University of Rome, Master in Finance at Birkbeck College in London, Antonini boasts over 20 years of experience in the insurance sector. From his beginnings in Banca Fideuram in the Planning and Control Directorate, he moved to the Strategic Planning Directorate of Allianz Italia, dealing with Corporate and Commercial Planning for the network of financial advisors of Allianz Bank Financial Advisors and the Group’s savings management company.
A large part of his career has developed within the Generali Group: first as Head of Life and Pension Products at Alleanza Assicurazioni, then in Alleanza Toro as Head of Life Product Management. In June 2013 he held the position of Head of Strategy for Italy and EMEA countries of the Generali Group, before taking on the role of Chief Insurance Officer of Alleanza Assicurazioni in 2015.
More recently, since 2022, Antonini has held the role of Life and Welfare Director at Italiana Assicurazioni (Reale Group).
