In recent years, Zlatan has included a whole new form of training to keep his 41-year-old body in super shape.
– My toughest time was when I was seriously injured and I couldn’t move as I usually do. That’s when I discovered yoga. I’m used to body contact and moving quickly. Whereas yoga was the exact opposite, so it became a new challenge for me and it turned out to be very positive. I had to teach myself to slow down, move slowly and focus. I learned a lot that I could take with me to the football field. That’s why you should never be afraid to try new things, he says in the interview.

Next, Zlatan highlights what is just as important as training, namely what you eat and how you sleep.
– You have to look after your body – in all aspects – in order to be at the forefront of your field. I have always taken care of my body and what I have eaten has helped me stay at the very highest level. Food that works for me is pasta, meat, fish and lots of eggs, Ibra tells GQ.
– Sleep is also very important, but I also want to remind people that you don’t need the perfect conditions to succeed. Not everyone has access to the best food or the best exercise opportunities. I know I hadn’t – and look at me now!
