Zlatan’s unexpected words about the superstar take the whole football world by storm – can’t help but pay tribute to himself

Last minute The world stood up after Putins decision in

Zlatan Ibrahimovic appeared during the F1 race in Monza.
Then he revealed his big favorite – and of course also took the opportunity to praise… himself.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic had surgery on his broken knee during the summer and is currently in rehabilitation for it. The Swede is said to be back on the football pitch for Milan only after the turn of the year, but he doesn’t exactly keep a low profile during the injury break.

At the big competition

Ibrahimovic can be seen during every Milan match, as he directs and directs even from the stands. And over the weekend he also appeared as one of several superstars in attendance during the Monza F1 race in Italy. Zlatan Ibrahimovic has a great interest in cars, and it was perhaps no big deal that he appeared during the big competition.

Ibrahimovic was of course hot prey for all the TV reporters in attendance, and he was asked who he was rooting for in the championship, which is led in superior style by Red Bull’s Max Verstappen.

– I am a big fan of Ferrari, absolutely. And Leclerc is in pole position, so hopefully he’ll take it home in the end. He really deserves it, Zlatan told Viaplay before the competition.

The tribute – to himself

But it wouldn’t have been Zlatan Ibrahimovic without him somehow paying homage to himself as well. To the French television channel Canal Plus, Ibrahimovic said that much of Ferrari’s success is due to him. Last spring, Ibrahimovic visited Ferrari, and then got to test the engines together with the team’s drivers, Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz.

When Ibrahimovic was now asked about Ferrari’s success during the year, he was quick to answer:

– As soon as I met the drivers, Ferrari started to win. Hopefully Leclerc can win today again, Ibrahimovic said.

The video has received tons of likes on social media, and one can only agree that it is as typical Zlatan Ibrahimovic as it gets.

However, Zlatan’s presence did not help Ferrari in Monza, as Max Verstappen won again and extended his already large lead in the world championship.
