But when Zlatan Ibrahimovic reveals who he thinks will be the main figure of the championship, it is not any of these three.
Rather, it is about a player who may not get as much time in the spotlight.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Sweden, as you know, is not there when the soccer World Cup starts in Qatar. But despite that, “Ibra” has now had his say on who he thinks will be the championship’s big hit – and maybe it’s a somewhat unexpected name.
Double record
The player in question has represented clubs such as Arsenal and Chelsea and is today teammates with Ibrahimovic in Italian AC Milan – and on Tuesday night he also wrote himself into French football history in a double sense.

Olivier Giroud accounted for two goals as France ran over Australia 4–1, and with that he touched down Thierry Henry’s goal record in the French national team of 51 goals scored. But not only that, Giroud also became the oldest Frenchman to score in an EC or WC at 36 years and 53 days.
Zlatan’s tribute
Now he is highly praised by his friend Zlatan Ibrahimovic in an interview with the football site “433”. In the interview, Ibrahimovic is asked four questions:
“Who scores the most goals in the WC?”
“Who will surprise us the most?”
“Who will be the best player of the tournament?”
“Who will be the biggest talent of the tournament?”

To all the questions he then answers that he cheers for his friend Olivier Giroud, and to the last question he justifies the answer by saying “he is still young, and if I say he is young, that means I am too”.
