Zlatan Ibrahimovic is approaching a new contract with Milan.
According to information in Italy, the Swedish superstar has agreed to a substantial salary reduction.
It has been barely a month since Milan became league champions for the first time in over ten years. Shortly afterwards, “Ibra” announced that he played the entire spring season without a cruciate ligament in his left knee – and that he would undergo surgery after the triumph.

In recent months, it has been rumored that the Swede has agreed with Milan on a new contract. And the long rehabilitation period does not seem to put a stop to it.
Instead, “Ibra” is determined to continue playing football for at least another year. A different season is to wait where a long stay during the winter will take place. This is due to the placement of the World Cup – so Zlatan would not miss as many matches in the first half of the season.

And now there are new reports in Italy that the Swedish superstar has agreed with the Italian league champions on a contract over the next game year. The new agreement will lead to a substantial salary reduction – and “Ibra” will reduce its remuneration by more than 50 percent.
It is the site Tuttomercatoweb that writes that “Ibra” will earn SEK 21 million per season with the new contract. A big difference as the Swede previously had a salary of SEK 71 million.
The site also writes that there is already an intended role for Zlatan in the club after he ends his playing career.
