Zlatan Ibrahimovic is one of the best strikers of all time, and for over 20 years poured in goals in big club after big club. The Swede didn’t have many unsuccessful spells at big clubs during his career, but his time at big club Barcelona may not have been what he, or anyone else, had hoped for. And afterwards the Swede blamed Pep Guardiola, who according to many is the greatest coach of all time.
The attacks against Guardiola
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a big supporter of José Mourinho, but during his time in Barcelona, Zlatan often felt neglected by Guardiola, and in his book “I am Zlatan”, the Swede opened up about the verbal attacks he faced against his coach.
“You have no balls, you poop in front of Mourinho. You can go to hell,” said Zlatan, according to his own statement.

The pictures make everyone say the same thing
Ibrahimovic is now an adviser to Milan, and Pep Guardiola is still the head coach of Manchester City. A few days ago, the two big teams met in a training match in New York, and then there was a brief reunion between Pep and Ibra. The Ibrahimovics were standing on the pitch when Guardiola suddenly came up to the Swede to say hello, and the meeting was caught on camera, and the images quickly spread throughout the football world. Reason? There didn’t seem to be too many friendly faces between the two of them.
An account on X with over 150,000 followers shared the clip of Guardiola and Ibrahimovic, with the caption: “Zlatan really hates this guy.”
The tweet received over 50,000 likes, and in the comments section everyone is saying the same thing.
