Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s message after the difficult knee operation – now tells in his own words: “Stronger than ever”

Zlatan Ibrahimovic turns 41 this autumn but has no plans to retire from football. Earlier this summer, the Swede extended his contract with Milan and will therefore play football next season.

Played injured

An impressed choice considering that the Swede has been affected by several injuries in recent years. After the series victory with Milan, Zlatan told us that he played the whole spring with an injured knee.

He said he did not want to miss a second of the Italian club’s pursuit of the title, supporting his team-mates in the best possible way on the pitch and in the dressing room.

When the season ended, he made the decision to have surgery on his knee. Reports state that the Swede will be out of action for up to eight months, but the recovery seems to be going at a rapid pace.

“Stronger than ever”

The Italian site Football-Italia ran into “Ibra” on the street and asked how his rehabilitation is going:

“It’s going great. I am stronger than ever,” says Zlatan Ibrahimovic, according to the site. And you can really understand that. The Swede recently published a picture on his social media where he showed off his knee.

And the Swede looks, just as he says, to be in good shape just eleven weeks after the extensive operation.
