Edström saws

One of Zlatan’s critics over the years has been the attacking legend Ralf Edstrom. We probably all remember Sweden’s World Cup qualifier against Hungary in 2008 when Sweden won 2-1 but a certain Ibrahimovic was surprisingly pale for the day.

Then Rydström took out the big saw and in the role of expert commentator on Radiosporten, he sawed Zlatan perfectly live.

Zlatan’s answer

After the match, Ralf Edström – with 40 caps, 15 goals and 2 World Cup tournaments for Sweden – explained how he covered and felt about Zlatan’s behavior.
– I am disappointed in him. He doesn’t have to keep waving his hands and gesticulating. If you hit a bad pass, you know it, you don’t need to see someone gesticulating, says Edström in an interview with Sportbladet.
– He was certainly disappointed in himself, but it doesn’t have to affect everyone else.

Later in the evening, Zlatan was confronted with the critical words and hit back in an unforgettable way.
– He can work in my garden. That is his level, Zlatan replies to the evening newspaper.
