The Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the rumors provoked strong reactions from Zlatan, who does not at all understand where the information comes from. And the 42-year-old Swede has had no contact with Conte since 2016.
– Stefano Pioli is our coach and we are happy with him, Zlatan said in a statement before Milan’s 3-2 victory against Frosinone this weekend.

Current Milan coach Pioli has also spoken out about his vulnerable situation and the pressure on him.
– The respect between me, the club and Zlatan is great. When the time is right, we will jointly make a decision, he said in Dazn over the weekend.

Antonio Conte was recently spotted having dinner in Milan with his management staff. Which fueled speculation about a change of coach and that Zlatan wants to replace Pioli with the more star-studded coach name Conte.
