At the weekend, Haaland and his City were in New York for a friendly against Milan, where Zlatan Ibrahimovic is now an adviser, a role he was given after ending his playing career last year. Erling Haaland scored, to no one’s surprise, a goal in the match – and afterwards there was a star-studded meeting with Zlatan Ibrahimovic in particular. Many have said over the years that there are similarities between the two, and there were happy faces when they met in the catacombs after the game.

Among other things, Zlatan Ibrahimovic got a shirt signed, which read: “To Zlatan, a real legend. Best wishes”. Zlatan also got a shirt signed for his son, Vincent, and when the Swede and the Norwegian were to take a picture together, Zlatan made everyone in the room laugh when he said that no filters were needed for the picture. At the end of the conversation with Haaland, Zlatan began to speak Swedish, and he then asked how Haaland enjoyed himself in Manchester. Zlatan’s joke quickly went viral on social media, and just about everyone loved the meeting between the icon and the current top scorer.
