They have been a loving couple for over 20 years.
But only now is Zlatan Ibrahimovic revealing the truth about the relationship with Helena Seger.
– People may think that we are a family that lives a luxurious life, he says in an interview on YouTube.
Last year ended Zlatan Ibrahimovic his long football career after over 20 years in top football. He has been with love almost as long Helena Victory.
Zlatan’s family life
But few things are known about their love affair which has lasted so long and resulted in two children, Maximilian and Vincent. Helena is eleven years older than Zlatan and they met when he was a 20-year-old professional soccer player.

Zlatan is very concerned about his privacy and family integrity, but after his playing career, he has opened up more about everyday life in the Ibrahimovic/Seger family. Last year “Ibra” revealed that he proposed to Helena but got the nob.

Now he reveals more about his relationship with his life partner.
– She always tells me “remember who took care of you before you started taking care of the family”, says Zlatan in the YouTube program “ABtalks”, which you can see below.
– She gave up her career for me because I chose for it to be that way. She has gone through everything she has done, she gave everything to me hard and gave everything up for me.

Ibrahimovic also explains what is the secret to their staying together all these years, despite having to move around and change countries so many times during his career.
– I don’t think you should have a big ego in a relationship, that you stand above someone else. I think it should be 50/50, of course she takes more responsibility in some areas and in other areas I take more responsibility. But the key to our relationship is that we have tried to live as normally as possible, he admits in the interview.
– People may think that we are a family that lives a luxurious life, but she does the washing, she cooks. The only help we have is a cleaner. I drive the kids to school, I pick them up from practice like a normal family and that’s how we’ve chosen to have it.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic reveals that he raised his children to be as ordinary as possible, no luxury styles so that they will be spoiled. Especially during the years in the Los Angeles Galaxy when the family lived in the wealthy area of Beverly Hills.
– In the whole school, only my children cycled to school. The other families had nannies who dropped off and picked up the children, or a driver. That’s not who we are, says Zlatan in the YouTube program, see it below.
