Milan are said to show interest in Victor Nilsson Lindelöf.
Is that right, Zlatan Ibrahimovic?
– If we are there? You never know, smiles the club boss in an interview with TV4.
Recently, information came in Italy, via the site Milan Live, that Milan wants to sign the Swedish national team centre-back from Manchester United. Victor Nilsson Lindelöf, 30, is on an expiring contract and can therefore start negotiating with other clubs after the turn of the year.
What does former teammate Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who is now in charge of sports at the Serie A giant, say about the alleged interest?
In an interview with TV4, he gives a cryptic answer about the matter:
– There are a lot of rumors being spread. That rumor is more because I’m Swedish, and Lindelöf is Swedish. He is a fantastic player. I think he is doing well at United. We have many good players in that position. So he has enough… I don’t know what he wants. You can probably ask him, says Ibrahimovic.
He adds:
– If we are there? You never know.
What do you want then?
– What do we want? We want a lot. And we work for it, Ibrahimovic replies and smiles.
Ibrahimovic and Nilsson Lindelöf played together both in the Swedish men’s national team and Manchester United.
