Zlatan Ibrahimovic is used to saying what he thinks and thinks about everything.
Now the Swede gets a taste of his own medicine.
He has been mocked by an old rival, the English centre-back John Terry, through a truly murderous comment on Instagram.
Anyone who hasn’t been living under a rock for the past two decades knows that Zlatan Ibrahimovic43, has played in some of the world’s best football clubs. After breaking through in Malmö FF, he moved to Ajax and then on to Italy. There he represented Juventus, Inter and Milan during his career. Zlatan has also played in Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and LA Galaxy.
Zlatan’s statement about Chelsea
It is no secret that a young Zlatan had the opportunity to represent another English club as well. The legendary Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger invited him to the club and Zlatan even posed in an Arsenal shirt, but the move never materialised. It all came down to Zlatan not appreciating that Wenger wanted him on trial for two weeks.
– Arsène Wenger asked me to have a trial with Arsenal when I was 17 years old. I declined. Zlatan does not do auditions, the Swede is said to have said.
Another English club that Zlatan claims to have touched earlier in his career is Chelsea. Recently, an old Zlatan quote has gone viral on social media – where he saw the club that, according to him, was not a big enough club for him.

“Chelsea couldn’t sign me. I have more trophies than Chelsea. It should be me who recruited them,” Zlatan is said to have said.
Mocking Zlatan with killer comment
One who did not appreciate the former top scorer’s cocky outburst was the Chelsea legend John Terry43, who with his 717 games for the London team is the most played in the club’s history.
He took the opportunity to mock his old rival – they have met a couple of times over the years both in club team and national team contexts – on Instagram. Terry insinuates that Zlatan simply did not dare to go to Chelsea because they already had a world star in the attack at the time, namely Didier Drogba (164 goals for the club).
“He didn’t want to sit on the bench,” writes John Terry and tags his friend Drogba.
You could say that Terry got a lot of comments from people who thought his answer was perfectly correct and true.
“Zlatan was a curse, that’s why he never won the Champions League,” comes one person.
“Funny that we won the Premier League the same season he joined Manchester United,” writes another.
“How many times has Zlatan won the Champions League?”, someone asks.

Haha, he can still offer this, the good Zlatan Ibrahimovic. It was actually quite funny said by Chelsea defender John Terry. Don’t you agree?
