Therefore, the Serie A club is looking for a new coach for next season. And the one who ends up in focus then is of course Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The Swedish 42-year-old works as a sporting advisor for Milan’s ownership group RedBird and will therefore contribute valuable experience to help the club on a long-term basis. That includes finding a new head coach for Milan’s red and black part of the city.
Milan on the hunt
Most things suggest that the new coach will be the Portuguese Paulo Fonseca. But Milan is also looking for a new striker during the summer transfer window then Olivier Giroud leaving the club.

Now comes a sensational rumor in Italy that raises a lot of questions. It is Italian Sky Sport that reports that Milan have contacted Chelsea to sign the striker Romelu Lukaku.

“Ibra’s” enemy
He is owned by the Premier League team but has spent the last two seasons on loan to Milan’s rivals Inter and Roma. In 2021, Lukaku also got into a huge fight with Zlatan on the field when they met in an infected Milan derby.
According to the reports, Milan want to take Lukaku on loan, while Chelsea prefer a permanent transfer to raise money for their expensive striker, who they are keen to get rid of. But one really wonders what Mr. Ibrahimovic really thinks about being reunited with his enemy.
