Ibrahimovic’s words

He is really clear that it is absolutely not finished.
– I am not the one who quits. I still think I have more to give, but there must also be joy in what you do. If I’m thinking of quitting? Well, I don’t think so. If I have to keep playing? I think so, says Zlatan in a new interview with the Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport.
– But I have to find a balance, just like in life. If you don’t have calm and stability, you become a bomb – and bombs explode in the end.

Ibrahimovic then reveals that Monza’s chairman Adriano Gallianiwho is Silvio Berlusconi’s right-hand man and managed Milan before, is really trying to persuade the Swede.
– Galliani has called me every day for three years. He tells me that Monza is beautiful and that a contract is ready for me on the table. But we’re not there yet. I am a Milan player and I am proud of it, says Zlatan in the interview.

Zlatan also has to deal with whether there will be anything more with Milan and what happens on that front in the negotiation mode.
– I feel good in Milan and Milan is my home. As for my contract, I don’t know anything. Last year I told Paolo (Maldini, the sporting director) that “it’s up to you”. Then came a paper that I signed. But I don’t know what’s on it (now). Maybe it will be another year. It is enough for me to know that I am a Milan player, then I know what to do. I don’t care about the rest, he says to the Italian newspaper.
