It has been two weeks Zlatan Ibrahimovic announced his final decision to end his football career. In connection with Milan’s last match of the season, “Ibra” took over the entire event and everything turned into a big farewell party for the 41-year-old.

24 years after his career took off in Malmö FF and one of Swedish football’s greatest footballers was created, now everything is over. Zlatan can summarize an absolutely fantastic and spectacular time as a professional footballer where he got to see and experience what few others succeed in.

There were nine different clubs in total and a total of 32 league titles Ibrahimovic managed to play together during an incomparable journey through Europe and its big clubs. The Swedish world star made a big impression at Ajax, Juventus, Inter, Barcelona, Milan, PSG and Manchester United and won the hearts of football lovers around the world.

Zlatan opened up his heart on Instagram and described his own football career with emotional words. The words have since touched all football lovers and the post has received almost two million likes and lots of comments with love greetings, see the post below.
“It started with a dream. A dream that turned the impossible into the possible. I was born in Malmö, grew up in Amsterdam, became wiser in Turin, became a lion in Barcelona, lifted even more in Milan and gained new perspectives in Paris. I got up to speed in Manchester and had a lot of fun in Los Angeles. Finally, I found my peace in my new hometown of Milan,” writes Ibrahimovic.
“I am created by you. And I hope to leave a legacy of new Zlatans that I have created. All of you who have hearts like lions. All of you who have a burning fire in your eyes. All of you who truly understand that nothing is impossible. Thanks for everything!”
He then concludes with a nice salute to the late friend and agent Mino Raiola.
